Tips to Stay Healthy & Happy this Holiday Season
Each day, choose the most important task for you to complete and start with that task. Many times we put too much on our plate and feel frustrated if we don't accomplish it all.
Fill your fridge and pantry with grab and go snacks.Have fresh fruit available, cut up veggies in the fridge, nuts and seeds, hummus and salsa for dipping. Keep a stash of clean, organic energy bars either that you made or bought.
Take deep breaths, A LOT OF THEM. You will be amazed at how powerful a deep breath can be when you are stressed, frustrated, or sad.
Be active daily. This is your best way to depress and boost seretonin levels. You don't have to set aside an hour every day, but be sure to get some fresh air on a walk or do a quick 20 minute video online.
Spend time with people you love. Don't forget the most important part of the holidays is spending time with loved ones.
