This is not a restrictive program. In this protocol you are adding a clinically studied formula that has been successful in helping the body eliminate excess toxins, hormones and harmful chemicals that can contribute to:


  • weight gain

  • inflammation

  • hormone imbalance

  • insomnia

  • anxiety

The Detox Balance Shake and all recipes provided are Gluten-free and Dairy-free.

If you have a health condition or are taking medications, it is important that you talk with your health practitioner before starting a detox protocol. You may need to modify the protocol. What's Included in the Program?

Ready to clear out toxins in the body, jump-start your metabolism, and replenish essential nutrients?

1. 10-Day or 28-Day Supply of the Detox Balance Shake. You do not need to take daily nourishment supplements while on the protocol, this means you can save your multivitamins, antioxidants, protein powders, etc. until after the program.


Sample 10-Day Plan
Day 1 you will add 1 shake to your day
Days 2 to 3 you will increase to 2 shakes per day
Days 4 to 7 you will increase to 3 shakes per day
Day 8 you will go back down to 2 shakes per day
Days 9 and 10 you will go down to 1 shake per day


Along with the Detox Balance Shake, you will be eating healthy, balanced meals. You will eliminate alcohol, soda, added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and highly processed foods. I encourage preparing your own food during the protocol so you can control the quality and ingredients.

I will share tips and recipes to help keep things simple and easy. All recipes I share will be gluten-free and dairy-free. 

You will need to stay hydrated to help your body flush out toxins. Your daily water goal is 1/2 your body weight in ounces. Example: if you weigh 190 pounds you will want to drink at least 80 ounces of water daily.

Guidance on following an elimination diet is also included in the information booklet if you think food may be contributing to your symptoms and you'd like to try an elimination diet to identify potential triggers.

Want to Learn More About Detox?
Toxin exposure is inevitable and continually increasing. We are exposed to toxins in our air, water, soil, home, work, car, personal care products, diet, etc. However, our health prevention has not changed.
Between 1970 and 1995, the volume of chemicals approved for use in the United States tripled, from about 50 million tons to approximately 150 million tons! (1)  This number has only continued to rise since 1995 and our health is paying the price.
Our bodies absorb toxins through our skin, lungs, and GI tract. These toxins damage our tissue, prevent nutrient absorption, and make their way into our bloodstream. The body is forced to store the toxins in our fat, liver, bone, and muscle in order to get them out of the blood quickly. 
Our liver is the leader in detoxifying toxic chemicals. Toxins are eliminated from our body through our colon, kidneys, lung and skin. Unfortunately with increasing toxin load on our bodies, the liver can become overwhelmed and unable to keep up.
Many "detox diets" actually further deplete nutrient stores since they are limited in calories and nutrients. A supportive detoxification protocol that replenishes nutrients, promotes digestion and proper elimination helps to support the body's natural process. 

The Phases of Metabolic Detoxification


There are three phases of detoxification and our bodies are continuously going through all three phases. To truly improve detoxification, we focus on replenishing nutrients used and optimizing elimination through the colon and kidneys. Detox starts at the mitochondrial level - the energy station inside our cells - this is where deficiencies often occur. 


The last two phase of detoxification include binding to toxins and elimination. These phases require adequate fiber and water to bind and move through the colon. With many "detox diets" fiber is significantly cut out, for example with juice cleanses. In my protocol we work to increase fiber slowly in order to fully support all phases of detox.


It is also important to incorporate regular activity and stress management for proper detoxification. We eliminate some toxins through our lungs and our skin through sweat.  Stress management is included so our bodies can be in the required state of relaxation and repair.
